"Rest in Peace"

This day October 31st, 2008 a brave soul is put to rest.
She is survived by her family,
especially Kevin
who gave up all cinema going experiences to
dedicate his movie watching life to her illustrious glory.
She also leaves her extensive collection of DVDs.
For a total of 8 years, her clarity shown like a beacon,
entertaining all who gazed upon her shining light.
She traveled from the depths of the living room to a galaxy
far far away and perhaps to infinity and beyond.
Her final resting place will not be a dump where she would
whittle away and decay. Instead she will live in our hearts,
for evermore.

"Operator Error"

I think grandma had a senior moment, even though
I don't want to admit it. Madison was extremely patient
when I put her onsie on upside down. Good thing I didn't snap it up.
OOppps!!!!

"Mommy can I keep him?"

"What's that? I think it may be a pet mouse."

Here mousy, I won't hurt you.

Got ya!

I shall name you "Squeakers" and you
shall be mine.

Let's go for a walk.

I love you Squeakers!

Halloween at the Kelley's is always a production

Frankie greets you at the door. This
year he was feeling very tangoish. I think
the rose is a nice touch.

It's that time of year again, when I go crazy with
my Halloween decorations. This year I had bunco a week
early so I have enjoyed a peaceful month (if you don't
count Kristi having a baby)

Nice ring huh?

This is Esoryram (Maryrose spelled backwards)
She is always my inspiration. She is definitely a
witch with an attitude.

Happy Birthday Delores

On Wednesday, October 22, 2008 -Delores celebrated her 76th birthday. I know it is rude to disclose a ladies age but I say if your 76 you should flaunt it. In fact Seans card had a turtle with rollerblades and the inside said, "One year older and still no signs of slowing down."

Thats Delores, she never stops. Happy Birthday motherinlaw.

Day of Reflection

Thomas Joseph Kiefer Jr.

Dear Dad,

It's been another year and we have all missed you very much. Who knew you would leave such a big hole in our family. We had a very interesting week. Your third great grandchild, Madison was born on Sunday. She has dark hair and is very cute. You would have loved her and you could have sat on the sofa and said "Hi There" like you did with all of your grandchildren. Riley and Bella are growing like weeds, Riley will be two and Bella will be one before you know it. It is almost time to carve our pumpkins and again that makes us think of you. I hope you will approve of the finished products. We will probably have a contest to see who can carve the best one. I'm sure Riley will win. We are all doing well, and until we meet again, all my love.

Fashion Sense?

What do you mean this outfit doesn't
match? Elmo goes with everything.

Riley loves Elmo so Kristi bought
her some Elmo slippers which she
adores. Actually Riley loves all shoes
and clothes. I bought her a little
Halloweenish outfit and she decided
she should try that on over her
t-shirt, tags and all. I think the look
works. What do you think?

Welcome Stacy and Bella

Stacy and Bella flew in from Oklahoma on Friday and boy did
we have a good time. Stacy, Bella and I went to lunch and did

We met with Pop Pop, Aunt Kristi and Riley on the way home
and then off to see Ba Ba and Uncle Sean (our family does have

We all visited and had a great time.

It's Official and I'm Not Happy About It

No Kristi has not given birth, but I'm about to. I will be giving birth to a twenty pound horse, cow, pig, goat, ground squirrel (I might keep the ground squirrel because let's face it, I may be keeping that middle age spread). I am officially fat and confessing to the blogging world. I'm hoping by standing up and saying I'm fat will help me to stay on track and lose this weight by Christmas. If I don't, I will be giving Santa a run for his money. So HO! HO! HO! And thank you for your support. Weight Watchers here I come!!!!!!
