Wednesday
Kids safely at school again, and Kevin
and I sleeping until the ripe old time of 8:00
(unheard of for us)
we hit the road for the El Yunque Rain Forest.
As we passed the Bacardi factory,
we were tempted to stop for a little breakfast rum...
but alas no.
These gorgeous orchids are attached to palm trees
and just grow randomly everywhere.
They are beautiful.
The view from this observation tower was amazing.
The day was overcast...
I can just imagine how
it looks on a clear sunny day.
Water and water fountains everywhere
You can see the ocean in the distance
and of course random dogs just hanging around on
random roofs.
