Hooray for Hollywood!!!!

 Hollywood put on the glitz and glamour last night
and
another Oscar night bites the dust.


We had a great time at Katina and Mike's for Oscar night.
Mike is such a great sport, he is always there
when we arrive, helping us carry things in, and
welcoming us into his home.  He even took the time to
choose a star to put on our back.

We had to ask yes and no questions

to guess which Oscar winner we had on our backs.

I got mine in 2 questions.

Then, as quick as a flash, he was gone,

leaving the ladies to oogle the many gowns, and jewels, but

not before we ate of course.

As usual the array of food was unbelievable...here is

a sampling...

 Barbecued Pork Sliders

and Artichoke, pepperoni pizza

Pigs in a blanket (and no I didn't bring them)

Patty, one of the bestest cooks I know

made us homemade lasagne.

Ice cold beverages galore

A mixed greens, spinach, blue cheese and walnut salad 

Tammies delicious appetizer ... meatballs

Cynthia's delicious appetizer....we love this

Peggy baked us an assortment of delicios cookies with a special

guest making a special appearance

(oh sorry wrong end...no pun intended)

We are always so happy to see each

other it is a chatter fest.

There were even a few nail biting moments waitng for some

of the Oscar winners to be named

And as soon as it began ....it was over and home we went.

I am curious though, how did everyone

like the show.  Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin?
